Between cries of fight and posters with messages addressed to the local authority, a group of activists of the movement Es.Col.A reoccupied the old primary school of Fontinha, in Oporto. The activists, including women and children, broke the lock and entered the school, where they had been expelled by the authorities. The group, named “Espaço Coletivo Autogestionado do Alto da Fontinha”, used the building for the development of activities organised by working groups in different areas. An order of eviction of the city council led police to force the school evacuation, sparking a wave of protest.
